Metal Map and plan cabinets for offices

Map and plan cabinets are used to store large-sized documents (printouts, posters, maps, plans, technical documents, printing plates) at printing and publishing houses, surveying and mapping laboratories, archives, or museums.

The drawers can be made in four options, for A1, B1, B2 and A0 formats. On request, they can also be fitted with a system of partitions, dividing them to smaller formats (A4 to A1). The drawers can also be fitted with a document holding system that prevents the documents from moving in the drawer.

Drawers are mounted on telescopic ball guides (with a locking system ensuring that they do not fall out), and can be fully extended smoothly and easily. As standard, drawers are fitted with a system that prevents more than one drawer from being opened at the same time, which protects the cabinet against falling down.

Cabinets are equipped with a master cam lock. They can be fitted with leveling feet.

Our offer also includes extensions that offer a significant increase of the cabinet’s usable area. The additional space can be used to hold, e.g. binders or other office documentation. In order to ensure that the entire system is stable, the extension is mounted on the cabinet using screws.

Our offer covers map and plan cabinets with 5 to 25 drawers. Upon a special request, we produce non-standard cabinet models, as well as make other matching elements (such as lighting fixtures).
