WAYS / METHODS OF OPENING ELECTRONIC LOCKS

 

WE EQUIP OUR CABINETS WITH LOCKS THAT ALLOW THE DOORS TO BE OPENED WITH:

  • only codes (ciphers)
  • RFID proximity cards only
  • RFID proximity cards and/or codes (hybrid locks).

 

Electronic cipher locks (with a code):

  • It can consist of a combination of 4 to 6 digits, which provides a high degree of security. The code(s) can be easily changed/deleted as needed
  • codes are entered using a simple keypad. The right combination of digits releases the lock and opens the cabinet door
  • depending on the lock type, dozens of codes can be assigned/overwritten to a single lock.

 

Electronic proximity card locks:

  • electronic locks can support various RFID card standards, including:
    • 125 kHz (EM4200, T5577, HITAG S, HITAG 1)
    • MIFARE® Classic 1K
    • MIFARE® Desfire
    • LEGIC®
  • cards can be programmed multiple times
  • can come in various forms: cards, chips, bracelets or key rings.

 

Electronic code (cipher) and card locks

  • depending on the type of lock, can allow simultaneous use of two opening methods or change in the authentication/lock opening methods without changing to another lock type.

ELECTRONIC LOCK OPERATION MODES

 

Electronic locks can operate in different modes. Depending on the lock, you can choose the lock operation mode(s).The choice of the mode will determine the functions that the lock will perform, for example:

 

PRIVATE/PERSONAL MODE- for multiple, long-term use, i.e. one code/card assigned to one lock

 

PRIVATE MODE FOR MULTIPLE USERS- multiple codes/cards assigned to one lock (recurring codes in private mode, with the option to delete them later. It allows, among other things, to add codes to temporary users)

 

PUBLIC MODE- one-time opening by code/card- ... allows, for example, to open the lock only once, each subsequent attempt to enter the same code will not unlock the device.

  • the target installation place of cabinets (e.g., wet rooms; outside)
  • the type of cabinets in which the locks are to be installed (e.g., in filing cabinets or breakfast cabinets)
  • the method of opening the lock (code and/or RFID card)
  • the modes in which the lock is to operate (public and/or private)
  • additional functions to be performed by the lock (e.g. ...)
